Upstairs Hallway"Hi! I'm Beth. As you can see, our second floor now looks beautiful! All of the walls have been repaired, and this lovely purple trim has been painted around the windows. It's Vineyard Purple, and we love it! "As you can also see, I now fill my sweater a bit more than I did back in 1995. That's what three kids will do to ya. In fact, when this photo was taken in December 2001, I was pumping 64 ounces of breast milk every day to feed my twins Jared and Draken, who were born in April 2001. That's a lot of milk. Hopefully, we'll get a new photo up soon." If you look at the floor, you'll see that it's been sanded. We sanded it to make it look better. We recently had it tested and, yes, it still has the lead paint in the cracks. We're able to control the lead paint by mopping with tri-sodium phosphate (TSP). Frequent and dilligent applications of this industrial cleaner have kept our children's lead levels low. |
