Need to make revisions? You can apply FrameMaker's
word processing tools directly to your layout: search /replace, spell
checking and indexing, to name just a few. Artwork you created in
FrameMaker is also editable on the spot.
Changes to your TopDraw image are quick and painless. Double-click the image in FrameMaker and you move directly to TopDraw where you can make whatever revisions are necessary. Then--courtesy of the live link you set up previously--those changes are automatically reflected back in your FrameMaker layout.

You see a list of messages in the top section of the Mail
window. Now click your choice and it appears. But don't expect
it to look like any electronic communication you've ever seen
before. NeXT Mail lets you send and receive any size or style text,
graphics, voice mail, documents, even folders filled with documents.
Your first draft is finished and you'd like to send it out for comments. All you do is double-click NeXT Mail, click Send, write a brief cover message, drag the document icon into the message and click Deliver. On the receiving end, your colleague only needs to double-click the icon you enclosed and the document will open. |

As you await the comments, you can keep working. A
quick glance to the dock on the right side of the screen will tell you the
moment new mail arrives--the envelope in the NeXT Mail icon shows you a
few symbolic pages in it.
A message arrives. Just double click the Mail icon and instantly the NeXT Mail window appears. Multitasking strikes again. |
