According to the company, the NEXTSTEP objects allow simulations to be built directly from a block-diagram representation of the system, unlike traditional methods, in which simulations are programmed procedurally from derived equations.
The $399 Simulation Kit includes seven primary Objective-C classes and 15 example systems, including full source code. Typical users include mechanical, electrical, thermodynamic, and chemical engineers, the company said.
