'486 developer offerings ready

With the unveiling of NeXTSTEP for Intel on May 25, users won't have to go begging for applications to run under the new OS.

Products for NeXTSTEP for Intel include Athena Design's Mesa spreadsheet, WordPerfect Corporation's word processor, Lighthouse Design's Diagram! 2 and Concurrence whiteboard and presentation packages, Imagine Multimedia's Callisto CD-I authoring tool, Xanthus International's CraftMan scripting software, Sarrus Software's Pencil Me In scheduler, and Adamation's What's Happening? and Who's Calling? groupware.

"We leveraged our development techniques for '040 machines," said Stephan Adams, president of Adamation.
