Co-Xist 3.0 supports NeXTSTEP 3.0, Motif 1.2, and X11R5, the current versions of each product. It also provides speed gains of five to ten times, depending on the mode of operation and machine type, said Chris Chauvin, product manager.
The program also offers a new "takeover mode," in which the user can allow X Window applications to take over the entire screen. In its standard "windows mode," the X Windows can now be repositioned as desired on the screen.
